Beware of Her

In a world gone awry
Enters a porcelain face
With darkened eyes
Engulfed with lies.

She is broken within
and destined to burn
Trying to be saved for her sins
Much too late for that, she will learn.

She searches for a soul
to share her pain.
She wants complete control
seeking a heart to stain.

A warm pulse she seeks
One with a tormented heart
A heart that she will
slowly begin to tear apart.

She beckons for him
He cautiously approaches
Tempted by her beauty
All his thoughts, he opposes.

She arouses his demons
And breaks his spirit
He plans his escape
as she searches for another soul to inhibit.

He is living a nightmare
And wants out to survive
He knows that in his heart
with her, he can not thrive.

He escapes her dimented madness
Lucky to be alive
As he leaves, he turns to her
and says, "Tell the devil I said hi!"
