Humans and Animals
Humanity is very seldom Human.
Humans are, by nature, Animals.
We wear the scheming grin of the cunning fox.
Our eyes glitter with the predatory gleam of the wolverine.
The chilling, sinister laugh of a hyena wrenches from out throats.
Humanity's natural side also hides a beauty, however.
Even is we try our hardest to modernize it.
We wear the dopish smile of a puppy at play.
Our eyes glow with the devotion of mother and calf.
The sparkling chatter of birds floats from our mouths, too.
Humanity shares the evil that crawls through the world.
Humans share the grace and love shining throuh the world.
If only Humans knew which side to turn to,
We could all be Animals, together in harmony.
