Skipping Stone

Life can sometimes make you feel like you were a stone cast into a lake
Just to see how many times you could hit the surface before you lost momentum
And gave up trying to stay on the dry side of things and accept your fate
Sometimes life can make you feel like your at the bottom of the analogy

Like you were the very earth itself, covered 3 quarters by water
As strong as unsturdy with a foundation of fault lines
That splinter beneath tectonic feats
Down to depths to where even the Light Of Light's presence dies
Sometimes, you don't see them
But only feel the quake
When they become abrasive
It can be catastrophic, up heaving whole mountain ranging mistakes
As you stand atop the winners peak
Love and inner peace will be absent when the winter speaks
It doesn't work with abrasive pieces and..
Eventually your highest peak
Will lay like a stone cast into a lake
Life can sometimes make you feel this way
Like sand eroding from the beach
Inching ever closer, to your peak
Life can sometimes make you feel this way
For no reason at all

Wires misfire in your brain
Paranoia spreads like fungus amongst the undergrowth
Every tree around you stands taller
Life with depression is like holding a piece of glass unable to let go
Life with anxiety is like the moment after a car crash
That doesn't go away for years
Life can sometimes make you feel this way
For no reason at all
