When did I forget... how my childhood heart found excitement at 10
The moment my hand connected
to paper and pen...
When did I forget...writing was my escape from disfunction at home
Creations of fantasy, families, a place
for my own
When did I forget...the beauty of thy self I could naturally express
Only to awaken as an adult my life
was a mess
When did I remember..about when
I forgot
When my hand connected back to pen
Endless writing can’t stop...

Finally the time came for life to change as I knew it. Reconnecting to my heart and passion to express through poetry is yet another ‘Peace’ of the puzzle’ to my path of healing, Love, therapy and happiness..NAMASTE 🙏🪞🐛🦋💫🌈🌟🕊💞 P.S apologies for any spelling/grammar mistakes, this was not one of my strengths 🥰

Yeah, lol dysfunction was one of 'em. When did you reconnect..? As an adult, I'd say.

The excitement and passion we feel at such a young age is hard to keep up, but for some it never goes away. Loved the enthusiasm and optimism in your words.
