Lost
I watch the clock as the seconds turn too minutes and minutes too hours.
I silently pray too hear your voice call my name too see my phone light up with a message saying you outside
I fight back the tears which seems to flow so freely these days and I struggle to let go of the dream that once was us
Lost in blinding darkness a soul now wonders
Lost in deep despair of forgotten times ones shared
Lost in great confusing for a heart refuses to understand
Lost in a see of pain that brings you to your knees
Lost in the middle of all this judgement and condemnation
Lost in memories of a soul which no longer is
I saw you on that faithful day, I saw you naked and exposed
I heard you speak without saying a word
I felt you deep within me before I even knew your name
Lost in the storm of unspoken words and misunderstandings of hate deeply planted and a love which was never meant to be.
