Lady over there I know you can feel my words as I write
Your inspiration and sincerity has brought to me a warm guiding light
I want you to know I'm so grateful for your honesty and kindness
I've always been a very shy person sometimes forgetful and mind less
When I reached out to you in my confused and desperate state
Surprised me that I found the courage and hopeful of a brighter fate
Now my only wish is to somehow return the joy you unknowingly sent
All I've got are words of encouragement and ask how your day went
I am a real good listener since I find it hard (scary) to speak
Together through writing we can climb this mountain and reach the peak
