Another Try
I should have known you didn't feel the same
But you're really good when you play your game
Yes you beat me and I'm not ashamed to say
The hurt I feel reminds me that I must stay away
You know we don't have another try
Girl we've already said goodbye
I love you and always will I can't make my heart stop
Why the best thing in my life do I have to drop
This pain I feel can only hurt me so much
I know it would disappear if I could feel your touch
I know we don't have another try
Girl you've already said goodbye
I just cannot allow her...

We lay on the floor I'm right behind you
As you sleep your dream I enter and find you
We run to each other and embrace rather tight
Our smiles beaming a true love so bright
The look in your eyes reveal a yearning to be kissed
An opportunity that I'm sure Won't be missed
Our lips meet and a spark quickly becomes a roaring flame
Passion flows immensely our hearts open for each to claim

Misery
Once again I'm left alone to wallow in my misery
And the pain doesn't make everything alright
It cuts deeper than even I can remember
And shades my sight more than the darkest night
Trust a word I no longer dare speak
The cruelest of hearts is the one that resides in you
Misery has her company I am a frequent guest
You bring me to her door and laugh as I walk through
I realize there's no one but me I turn to run
The door has closed and silence engulfs my heart
No spark to guide me no fire to warm me
Only time knows how I will handle this...

Your inspiration and sincerity has brought to me a warm guiding light
I want you to know I'm so grateful for your honesty and kindness
I've always been a very shy person sometimes forgetful and mind less
When I reached out to you in my confused and desperate state

Show me your hurt let me in so I can heal your pain
I will wash away your sadness without leaving a stain
There's no more words swirling around in my head
No more visions of ever getting you in my bed
Just two lonely people that chose their desolate path
Giving up a chance for love to endure isolations Wrath
Forever to walk alone haunted by thoughts of love
Cherished Memories Fall like raindrops from high above
