Overflowing Bucket

When my mind gets heavy, I like to empty it.
Like an overflowing bucket of water
that gets too heavy to carry-
When there’s nothing you can do
besides, watch the water spill over the edges.

But... it is not only the weight... but time,
every second amplifies the burden,
gravity and buoyant forces teaming together
pulling me down even more.

And that hurts...
Until it begins to spill over the edges
And you eventually, have the strength to pour it out yourself.
