Notice
If I make a cut
Will you notice
Blood is spilling from my veins
Do you notice
If I slit my throat today
Will you notice
I left the house the other day
But did you notice?
I tried and tried my hardest
Did you notice
I hate everything about myself
Did you notice
I slap a phony smile on my face
but do you notice
I'd love to stab you with my switchblade
Maybe then you'd notice
Will you notice
Blood is spilling from my veins
Do you notice
If I slit my throat today
Will you notice
I left the house the other day
But did you notice?
I tried and tried my hardest
Did you notice
I hate everything about myself
Did you notice
I slap a phony smile on my face
but do you notice
I'd love to stab you with my switchblade
Maybe then you'd notice

The question we want to ask everyday
"Do you notice me?"
The ending gave me a smile

The other person
For some reason, and it may be totally insignificant, my mind keeps wondering who is it this directed to? A lover or a paternal figure? Unfortunately in my experiences in the classrooms,a similar feeling pops up way too many times.

To be completely honest, it was more directed towards society and the way they treat those who happen to be different from what everyone considers "the norm" It was my voice speaking out for everyone who cant
