Our Last Moment
Blood coursing
Through my veins
I cut my wrist
And the blood begins
to rain.
I stumble around
Dragging my feet
Blood still pouring out
I begin to feel weak.
Things around me
All become a blur
Then I see a light
By the door.
I drop to my knees
And think this is it
That’s when I see
your worried face
And feel you grab my wrist.
I hear you cry
“What have you done?”
My eyes begin to close
From the loss of so much
blood.
Through my veins
I cut my wrist
And the blood begins
to rain.
I stumble around
Dragging my feet
Blood still pouring out
I begin to feel weak.
Things around me
All become a blur
Then I see a light
By the door.
I drop to my knees
And think this is it
That’s when I see
your worried face
And feel you grab my wrist.
I hear you cry
“What have you done?”
My eyes begin to close
From the loss of so much
blood.
