You said you`d spare me your last breath
Assuring you`d stay with me till` death
I promised to stay alive  forever
As long as we can be together

I`d rather live a lifetime with you
Than spend years with someone I hardly knew
It`s hard to condone someone
When you regret what they`ve done
If we cease to forgive and forget
Then we merely regret

Because if we are always lieing and cheating
Then you`re only devieving 
But when you die and travel to heaven above
You`ll be greeted by the ones that you love

Please don`t fret
For I won`t regret
The promises I made
And the people I forgave.
