That Hop of the Sparrow
But quite frankly
He met her at the café
After her work
Still during his work
They met at her café
Through an afternoon of security
And concrete forms
It was the Public Service, after all
Comparing the messes
The added respect sown in
I feel my brothers now
Protective of our sisters
Sons & daughters
As I breathe
I’d give it all for her
She knows it
Counts me down
She’s a scientist
I’m science
He met her at the café
After her work
Still during his work
They met at her café
Through an afternoon of security
And concrete forms
It was the Public Service, after all
Comparing the messes
The added respect sown in
I feel my brothers now
Protective of our sisters
Sons & daughters
As I breathe
I’d give it all for her
She knows it
Counts me down
She’s a scientist
I’m science
