For tommorow

The test results are in
Just waiting for the doctor to have his say
As another phase of life is to begin
Perhaps clarity will break the clouds of grey

Over a month ago
Everything changed so quick
The future I will never know
There is no quick solution or trick

So much I have to change
My career, diet, training and outlook
There is no routine now, which is very strange
A different situation like a ending in a book

I'm hoping for a full recovery
Sadly it is doubtful to happen
On this voyage of personal discovery
In this ship I am the captain

As god is spiritually beside me
I thank him dearly for being there
To save me from death in life's sea
He is watching everyone, everywhere

To set this ship on the right course
Will take patience, strength and hope
From the inner demons of sin and never ending remorse
Another chance given to repair and cope
