THE VIRTUE OF WAITING

PATIENCE

My mom and dad continually
tried to teach me the virtue
of patience, which they didn't
exercise perfectly themselves.
I needed to sit still and learn to wait.
The bus was too slow, the plane
wasn't on time, and the other
motor cars moved too slowly.
I guess I was born with my
disposition set on
GO!
It has advantages and disadvantages.
BUT
since I met amazing
YOU, my wonderful
and talented Princess
I have had a
CALM
spirit take control.
WHY?
When I wait I have time,
use time, and take time
to think about
YOU.
I can wait for your words
in a new and joyous way
thinking about your kisses, your
gift of perfect lovemaking
in "101 ways."
I am happily waiting for
your next smile, suggestion,
and nose to toes kisses of fire.
I do hope
YOU
are patiently waiting too.
