The Road We No Longer Walk

The Road We No Longer Walk

The road we no longer walk
And the places we cant return to
The words we no longer talk
And the things we never got to do
The bars we no longer visit
Like the restaurants we used to eat in
No longer will we go again
No longer will we put our feet in...

The stories we often told
And the life we shared together
All our dreams have gone cold
Like the murky Scottish weather...
All the promises I was told
All the future plans we shared
No longer have a meaning
Goes to show how much you cared!

But this morning as I woke up
The Sun above was shining
He never ever will give up
You'll never hear him whining!
Just as the seconds keep on passing
And the hours turn into days
The days turn into months
And the months become decades...

Time is the only thing for sure
That will never let us down
We grow, we age, we mature they say
Til we turn our frowns upside down..
Smile, laugh, cry and rage
But we should never give up on each other
The roads we no longer walk anymore
Is a road I wont walk with another!
