Inhale The Night

Dwindling darkness at the dusk of silence      
Eternally dormant in the shadows of light      
Casting a shade upon the heart of unrest      
      
Discomfort retreats to a den of obscurity        
Feeding torment, as it fades into the void      
Mourning the fate of what shall never be      
       
As the passing of severed lives comes to an end      
Sparing but the gloom of much sorrow and fear      
It surrenders to the embrace of its own torture      
For a restless soul inhales the night once more
