Killing Memories

I watched you there
Far below the putrid glare of a moon flung over
Out of sorts and masked with palatial veils
An eclipse of frailty ensures your beauty

Despair rakes me over
Through the silence of your presence
The ambience of death ever so gracious
Beauty blooms in gardens fair

Fragrant memoirs begin to kill me
Drowning under the silent sky
Becoming one with the worm
Your beauty to this day still haunts me
