silence the night

Dear B,

The conundrum of nightfall. It’s like a blanket of relief sometimes when it ends a particularly difficult day as well as being an object of fear because it’s dark and you can’t see things clearly. Shadows lurk, sounds are spooky.  
I loved the truth and cleverness of this poem because it’s something I experience and it feels lonely so it was comforting to see someone else have similar feelings. Thank you ;-) H🌷

Ah the dark devours the light at the end of play, no drama, no bandstand finish. Just wraps her arms around the world and all is dark once more

hi there dearest Ron I do love the night usually just suffering some extremely dark dreams of late and even I pulled my covers tighter to me lol... they are demon dreams is best I can describe them I've had them since childhood...they are different kind of beings quite fearsome... anyway thank you my friend 🌹

When one lives in the dark, even if only for a time it becomes both cloak and lover in a way ... comfort and disguise ... Bless and love ... .
