The "shift of weight" idea was brilliant and so insightful. A perfect definition of grief and heartache in four words...

just a poetic theory.. may be true though.. that was a traumatic time in my life losing my cat of 19 years.. she stayed as long she could.. she was my baby.. I loved her so much (if I have any idea what love is) but if she didn't go into the group and into the void I'm sure part of her spirit is still with me.. I see her in dreams often.. and I believe dreams are a dimension between life and death.. also just another poetic theory.. who knows really..

I can relate to this one... Once something becomes a part of you and it leaves, the pain is never completely gone, it just becomes bearable with time. Great write!
