Goodbye Prince Charming
I guess you were not my prince after all
But still it was too late for me not to fall
You were never meant to be my happy ending
I was never meant to be what I was pretending
Now I know I'm not your princess
This was not my fairy tale
I thought you'd take me to heaven
But you dragged me straight to hell
Goodbye prince charming you're gone tonight
I know this time you will not come back
Goodbye prince charming, no time to cry
I'm grieving you in the arms of another man
Shedding tears in between the silence
Staring at a picture of you and me smiling
I'm just left with lots of might-have-beens
Full of dreams that should've stayed in my sleep
I believed in your words that were just stories
You knew what to say to keep me off my territories
You said I got you wrapped around my finger
But you wrapped yourself around my weakness
I can say I'll miss your kisses,
I can't say I'll miss your skin
I can say I'll miss your voice
Or the way you looked at me
I won't miss your midnight cuddles
'Cause we never shared a bed
Still I felt pleasure that became pain
' Cause you were my sun and became my rain
If I could describe your lips
I'd say the sweetest lie I'd ever kissed
You called me yours and I called you mine
What a romantic waste of time
Thank you for all the emotions
That I didn't know I had
For causing all this commotion
And for ripping off my pride
Goodbye prince charming it's time to die
Maybe tomorrow the sun will shine
Goodbye prince charming, no need to lie
I understood it's not worth to fight.
