A General American Weakness
This is how most Americans sound to me,
when they complain about the stress of having to do everything from home:
"I am lying in a bed of my own making
and it is causing me psychological distress!"

I am an American. Being paid enough to live for working is a legitimate challenge for many Americans, largely because of corporation-friendly economic policies and COVID-related public health policies, so many of us need to be more thankful for the opportunity to earn enough to live.
