thank you letter

my love life has always been a rollercoaster
I'm still in the process of healing
days and nights seem longer
some days I don't like how I am feeling
day by day I'm getting stronger

with this last situation we got ourselves in
I affected my mental health greatly
I'm still struggling
i want to thank you though

you were killing me slowly emotionally
you made me stronger
choosing some other person again and again
you talking to all your exes again forgetting that I exist

even talking to a certain ex who is been around town
put me in a position where I had to accept things that I didn't want to
you are the clown
I'm not in the circus no more I'm not your fool

I'm not trying to bash you
you showed me a lot by making me feel this pain
you were everything to me once an upon a time
gave me a chance to know myself

i lost my best friend in you
by your actions
i have to find the best friend in me
that's all i have when the world is against me

I'm starting to feel amazing
there's more to me then you will ever know
so i thank you for breaking me this time
maybe this separation is good for us

I'm a wonderful person
you are missing out
one day you will regret what you lost
at a great cost
