A SAD BUT EASY OBSERVATION

The tide of despair,
frustration, and hopelessness
is flooding the land
like a Tsunami,
BUT I shall ride the
waves of HOPE.
The undercurrents of
hatred, rejection, and
frustration are stealing
our peace, joy, and happiness,
BUT I shall ride the
waves of HOPE.
The hurricanes of doubt,
fear, and lawlessness batters
the shore of our peace of mind,
BUT I shall ride the
waves of HOPE.
The waves of HOPE
spring from the deep
wells of optimism and faith
buried eternally in our minds,
hearts, and souls.
The hurricanes of hurt,
evil, and unhappiness
will dissipate leaving damage
BUT I shall ride the waves of HOPE
and rebuild a stronger base of JOY.
