Wonder and Worry
Shooting stars are meant to wish on
I made a wish as a small child believing it would one day come true
Slowly the realization hit me the wish could be coming true
Or could turn into the nightmare I fear most
The witches have cast there spell on my heart
Enchanted me with there magic and mystery
The gremlins have tainted my blood
Hardened me and made me sickly
As I gaze into the night the faeries come out to play
They whisper words in my ear
Some of wisdom~some of trickery
I can't decide which is which
The road I am on leads me to you but as I walk I slowly feel the earth beneath me crumble, as I stumble trying to stay upright
Will you catch me?
Or will I fall into the grasp of the ever waiting darkness
I made a wish as a small child believing it would one day come true
Slowly the realization hit me the wish could be coming true
Or could turn into the nightmare I fear most
The witches have cast there spell on my heart
Enchanted me with there magic and mystery
The gremlins have tainted my blood
Hardened me and made me sickly
As I gaze into the night the faeries come out to play
They whisper words in my ear
Some of wisdom~some of trickery
I can't decide which is which
The road I am on leads me to you but as I walk I slowly feel the earth beneath me crumble, as I stumble trying to stay upright
Will you catch me?
Or will I fall into the grasp of the ever waiting darkness
