one day I'll be gone
and that doesn't mean a damn thing
because I'm all about the now
fake people come around
i've learned to cut the cancer out
don't mean to be insensitive
just want to care for me and my lover
kiss her by a bonfire
I don't really need anything more
friends come and go like a revolving door
after all I'm ok with taking the blame
wrong or right
I'm the asshole
for falling in love with the serenity
my heart has been broken
done things I've regretted
but it's not about the mistakes
got me a girl that pieced me together again
looking at her smiling face
as she serves me a hot plate
dinner and a movie
this is my heaven
don't need to waste time
pretending to care
for anyone else
not trying to be mean
I wish everyone the best
hope everyone could find their happiness
just please don't look towards me
I'm what you would call a let down
because I'm too busy being greedy
it's all about me, she, me, she
so just think of me
as being here

Yeah... Ppl will come and go... But once you have found your true love, make it the focal point of your life...make it Your universe... It's around which your life should revolve... Cherish that person... the love...treasure it... Value it... Dedicate your whole life to her/him... As if you were just born to love them...

Spoken with true conviction of the heart and soul and mind I hear you loud and clear for folks do come and go through your life but to be able to find that one relationship that takes the place of the nonsense is definitely priceless respect brother poet 👊👊👊👁😎
