How could you look me dead in the eye
And tell me everything will be alright
As if i didnt know any better
How could you take my hand
And hold it, and make me feel safe
as if you didnt know better
How could you hold me when its warm
and hug me when im cold
but tell me you feel nothing
How could you make me laugh
when im sad
and hope i feel nothing
How could you tell me about her
about how you love her
and expect no jealously on my part
