In Temptation’s grasp
lies a myriad of roads;
Down to stark choice
is but my own.
Veiled in the darkness
in chaotic glance,
one step forward
is my only chance.

It's so simple, but it needs to be. I love how this piece just throws us into the midst of a decision. This sounds like how my life choices are made. I am caught off-guard by something that will have life-altering consequences. I think what am I going to do? This? or That? Up? or down? Then I just stop thinking and just go. I am astounded that such a simple poem could affect me so.

Thank you, that means a lot. I feel that once the time for decision is at hand. Little can or should be done but head forward into whatever life has in store.

It's nice to read something that doesn't keep on going because someone decides it has to. Very much concise and to the point
