A look to the mirror (and it was broken)
I’m appalled by my behavior as of late.
Living life for just about any escape.
Behind on bills again yet I paid ahead.
Still upset by my character being misread.
These troubled times, into troubled days.
It’s almost as if I forgot to even behave.
I still care more about them than myself.
Helping others when I'm the one that needs help.
The secrets I hold wishing I could just lash out.
Instead alone in isolation I quietly pout.
Maybe one day I will be seen, my true inner me.
Until than my life unravels with more confusing poetry.
