best friends

Even though everything we're still best friends to the end
so many holes to mend
you're stuck I am not
so many lessons to be taught

I can still remember one of the best days of my life

we started off friends for a year sometimes I miss you when you're not near

I have accepted what is a what is not so many fights that were fought
I remember I didn't have a date for prom you promised you would go with me
you kept your promise even though you thought I would flee

I remember the love and Gifts
the long talks on your different shifts also remember the bad
which doesn't make me glad

Also on how everything got so bad witch gets me mad
but I'm learning how to give up control
so I won't be stuck in this black hole

We have both made our amends
so we can be friends
I know when we first got married in your heart you said yes
we felt so blessed
I was your best friend and you were mine
everything between us wasn't great it was just fine

But I figured we could get through anything
but things got bad I had a fling which made your heart sting
I don't regret what we had
we made something great like it was fate
