My Mistake

There are diamonds whose sharpest radiance
pales in comparison to to you

Few that I know of
with a command of femininity
as deep and as wide
like the ocean so blue

Eyes that sparkle with energy
between touching and smiles
directing men's design
bereft of a peer

Perhaps acting and a show
the mirage of prolonged pleasure
evokes wants of interaction
gladly let you steer

Folly on my part in mistaking
economic gains with substantial interaction
and yet doesn't lesson her attractiveness
