soulful dimensions

i awake to the bright
flourescent lighting
from a roof i don't
recognise

smell of disinfectant and blood
trickles slowly into my nostrils
as my brain races to put
all the pieces together

a hospital.........
im in ?
looking down i see
a toe tag on my foot

my chest burns
my eyes burn
my soul burns

a car speeding
me walking
she was walking too
next to me, holding hands

doctor walks in and nods
pulls off my toe tag and says
that was close," she gave you her heart"
literally

my future..... a ball of razor wire
