Freedom Come Undone

 
[i]This pain that lasted
almost forever
is now free from my soul-
vanished: Like cracked leather.

I can now define and protect the
feeling of affection that anyone-
True to heart, will reveal to me.

I have spent so many years
not trying or even wanting
to be loved. From Fear
of what will happen.

I need someone who makes me feel safe.
Someone, anyone, who does not care right or wrong.
Whose emotions reveal strong. And what
my choice of words reveal to his own that
He may capture my minds' heart
No matter how long it takes.
