Take Me Away Into Nocturnal
She resembled a mannequin perched,
on a gawdy bistro chair.
Skinny ivory legs crossed, black-X vinyl
stickers she wore as
pasties, over her flat breasts.
Clumsy worn out ideas, fall to the floor with
yesterday's cocktails
adding her scent, of scorched apricots and
fermented pears
as she spoke...
Her words deadened silence, and culled
the living
She saw him watching
her from the back of
the darkened room.
"Spin my skull, to taste your voice you are
everything, that is
wrong with me."
She said
"Save me a kiss, wait,
while I spit pollution
and cough.
Like a dungeness hollow a his voice tore the veil, between them
" Drain me, leave the edges of my bones
intact for the ambience"
"As I watch you deep throat sin."
He said
"Your narrow waist in
my clutch, wrapped in
crimson ribbons,
the edges frayed, catch the burrs on my tongue."
"Come with me now, before my courage to
escape, takes me into
the nocturnal.
