WHAT SHALL I DO?
WHAT SHALL I DO?
Man on earth should some deeds perform
when it is his land and his home.
Flesh is born to do what the soul
can instal in it as its goal.
It must be an act of value
which can give a man a new hue,
that not so many can depict.
Few for such a task are quite fit.
Jesus showed us ways of great joy
that no fear can ever destroy.
What shall l endow whom l love
to be sure they love what l give.

Re. WHAT SHALL I DO?
Should man perform some valued deeds
but only when he has some land to be his home?
If he possesses none of these while he’s on earth,
is he excused from taking up this yoke?
And can a soul, which has no hands
or implements,
instal an unnamed goal inside
a homeless person’s flesh
beyond the getting of
a stomach that is full of food,
a place to sleep in peace
a roof above his head?.
Are these the things **with which**
he wants those whom he loves
to be endowed . And is his goal in this
to see some love for them expressed
as effort’s sum?
And what’s the use of any way
of joy that Jesus showed to men
if man has not the means
to stay alive and follow them?
but only when he has some land to be his home?
If he possesses none of these while he’s on earth,
is he excused from taking up this yoke?
And can a soul, which has no hands
or implements,
instal an unnamed goal inside
a homeless person’s flesh
beyond the getting of
a stomach that is full of food,
a place to sleep in peace
a roof above his head?.

I am very surprised you understand my poem this way. It is completely something else. Now, l am sure that you use my poems to write your poetry. I doubted it from the start, but now it has got very clear to me. You spoil the beauty of my poetry by writing this very cheap stuff. When l go to your page, l feel surprised that all your page consists of very cheap misrepresentations of my poetry. You don't have poetry of your own. I ask the management of this site, and the poets of this site as well to check this fact. Please, stop this sort of plagiarism, and start your own poetry. This means that you admire my poetry. Therefore, you plagiarize it. Please, stop that, Baldwin. Plagiarism is a shame.
Re: Re. WHAT SHALL I DO?
You are misusing the word "plagiarism" and accusing me of something that I do not do. Plagiarism is copying and passing off someone else's work as one's own. (https://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/dictionary/english/plagiarism).
This is not what I do with your pieces -- which I do not admire. I sometimes springboard off of them, but that is to do what T.S. Eliot says good poets do.
“Immature poets imitate; mature poets steal; bad poets deface what they take, and good poets make it into something better, or at least **something different**.”
"l feel surprised that all your page consists of [IS] very cheap misrepresentations of my poetry."
Whether my pieces are "cheap" is one thing. But to claim that **everything** that I've posted to my page is grounded in what you write is another. Please name which of my 80 odd pieces on my page (which, notably, get far more reads than yours do) are examples of "plagiarism".
Moreover, I wonder if you know what slander is. You've just engaged in it. And I'm reporting you for it.

According to LONGMAN DICTIONARY OF CONTEMPORARY ENGLISH, Plagiarize: 1.to take[ words, ideas, etc.] from someone else's work and use as one's own without admitting one has done so. When one looks at your page, he finds all your poems are my ideas, perhaps except the last two. Why do you post them, Baldwin, on your page? Can you answer this question? Isn't that idea plagiarism? Moreover, why do you write your horrible writings on my page? Isn't it to make others leave my page without giving their opinions because they think perhaps you are one of the managers who is not good at poetry, and they don't want to have bad relationship with you, while surely you are not one of the managers of this page. Baldwin, you have used everything against me, and you still do. Isn't this a proof that my poetry is excellent?

It's quite clear that when I post my versed responses in your threads to what you write there that I am admitting is that the ideas and words that I am responding to come from you.
Moreover, I have frequently acknowledged that the source of, or the inspiration for, what I have posted on my page is you when what I have posted is a take on, a parody of, and/or is a response to something you have written.
So your charge of plagiarism is wholly unfounded, not to mention grounds for legal action against you.
And no, what I do is hardly an admission or any kind of proof that your poetry is excellent. Have you not noted how much of the substance of what I have posted calls you to account for writing poorly and writing nonsense?
No, let's get back to your self aggrandizing claim that **everything** I have posted on my page is somehow grounded in what you write.
Exactly how many of my posting there are ones "inspired by your work. Is it really true that there aren't any that have nothing to do with yours?
Cue the lie and/or the dodging of this question.

You are being a weasel again and doing just what I predicted you'd do.
It's your claim. So the onus to bring evidence of its validity is on you.
And BTW, I HAVE looked at my page. And what I see in doing so is not only that I get more reads than you do (a sure sign that people here think my postings are good), but that you -- to be blunt -- are a liar.

I am not ready to write your titles to you. You know them very well. I am sure you know who the weasel is, Baldwin.
Re: Re. WHAT SHALL I DO?
"I am not ready to write your titles to you" Write them **to** me???
Another dodge.
" I am sure you know who the weasel is"
And yes, in light of the following, I know who the weasel is.
Here is a list of the pieces you have lied about in claiming that they are somehow grounded in, let alone "plagiarize", things you've written.
absence
Abused
age
An Emulation of Thomas Wyatt's "And Leave Not Yet"
Another Ditty
another kiss
Chastity
Culprit Moon
distance
Fire eyes
Grey Wing
Ha Satan
Her laugh
How Many Times?
I shall pretend
Kiss
little bastard
Longing
night
No Jewels
pale moon
Regret
Restraint
Sin?
Sunrise Disturbed
surprised
the power
truth
Wrinkles
Your Name
And that the following pieces -- which are responses to things you've posted -- are poorly written in comparison with what they are responses to, is something you have yet to demonstrate (not to mention avoid finding ways of avoiding doing so).
A Challenge to J-Z
A Challenge to J-Z -- and anyone else here who might find it fun to imitate Byron, Yeats, et. al.
afterlife?
another on J-Z
Ash Wednesday
Dity
Ha Satan

Incarnation
J-Z and his "If"
Jealousy

On J-Z's "From Hands to Hands"
Quit Telling Me that Heaven Is My Home

Of course, you know them, but you pretend that you have a different point of view. What is the reason that you give all this very long time? If my poetry, as you claim, is so bad, why do you give all this very long time, Baldwin?
Re: Re. WHAT SHALL I DO?

So did you or did you not lie when you claimed that **everything** that appears upon my page is plagiarized from your submissions? It's a yes or no question.
And what kind of English is "why do you give all this very long time". Did you mean to ask "why do you spend so much time responding to what I post?"? If so, you didn't say it.

You tell lies. I said you know your writings, so there is no reason to tell you about them. How can you change the meanings to fit your opinions. You are really a strange man.
Re. WHAT SHALL I DO?
The issue is NOT whether I know my writings, but whether your claim that when you go to my page, you see that **all** my page consists of [is] very cheap misrepresentations of my poetry and that I don't have poetry of my own IS TRUE.
Are these words: "When l go to your page, l feel surprised that all your page consists of very cheap misrepresentations of my poetry. You don't have poetry of your own." not yours?
And when you ask "How can you change the meanings" , what is it that I have I changed the "meanings" of?
Moreover, is it true that when I have written parodies of your pieces, or shown in verse form that the claims you have made within them are off base and incredible if not nonsense, that I've only been "pretending" that I have "different points of view" (presumably from yours)?
