Skeletons in a closet

Living inside can be such a unfixable fix
Denying acceptance is a bad habit to quit
Only numbing pain as it builds on our shoulders
While the ride is so high our bones become boulders
With insulation soaked you can start to taste the cold
I hope one day the lights of love let your heart unfold

Pull the nails out of your heart in this coffin
Dig up this grave covered in our deprived suffering
Free the pain of what is left in the composite
So you can see we are all skeletons in a closet

Why do we hide all this dialect all over the intellect
Why are we only feeling this defect in the correct
Our souls searching for perfection in misdirection
We’re just looking for a connection of rejection
I’m done gazing for light in the dark
I’m done pretending a whole is not coming apart

Pull the nails out of that coffin
Dig up this grave of suffering
Free the pain in the composite
We are all skeletons in a closet

Tonight let this truth bathe to revitalize
These thoughts shutdown left us in our demise
Let reality show you the light in the stars
Heaven is on earth & it is in our hearts
