In the Moment

In the moment i feel so alone
I feel left behind by family and friends
No amount of friendliness or love could change the fact
That I am completely alone

Here I lay my life poured out onto text
The people read and relate but does it help
No. I sit here and wonder how I can get noticed
How I can receive help when I don't receive one text

In the moment I want to get away
Destroy any evidence of my life and run
Leave this little town of mine forever
Pack my bags and fly far far away

How does one feel as lonely as I do
I'm surrounded by people but I feel overlooked
I feel as though I'm invisible
