Simply reach out your hand, just slide it into mine, let me guide you from your hurt, together you will be just fine

I will be your shield and night, your defender in the dark, a small light in your darkness, a loving, caring spark

A cover to guard you from all pain as it pours from way up high, a safety blanket to keep you warm, so you can snuggle up and sigh

A soft tissue to wipe your cheeks tear stained from your eyes, wrap you in a cocoon of love, until the storm just dies

Let me push away the clouds, so you can again bask in the Sun, let the hurt be just memories, finished, forgot and done

Step out into the day, so new, so bright, so clean, let all your hurt get brushed away, so your smiling face can beam
