Paths

The road wends it's way
Through small, laced hills
Traced here and there
By darkling rills

Which join at length
A stream which flows
Beneath a bridge
Then onward goes

As onward I
Across the bridge
Then down the road
Seek further ridge

For roads and streams
And paths it seems
Travel ever on
Like mystic dreams

Just vignettes spied
Just memories
A passing touch
Of reverie

Such is journey
Of such is life
Of passing day
Before the night
