Imperial Bengal Tiger
Rows in a forest of birch wood
creating an interesting mood
what I’m seeing is truly a wonder
a beauty beyond the blue yonder
morning sun keeps shining through
a charming dawn, the sky so blue
yet I travel to a world I never knew seeking a slender beauty and that’s just true
just for a short little glimpse
the long miles I’m willing to trek
braving past the trees with limps
then comes the shores of shipwreck
pause just to pleasantly ponder
when there’s rain and thunder
this nature, a beast to surrender
yet a mystery appearing only in September
at shipwreck shore by the cove
a sight of thousands little doves
charming birds flew in the droves
among the is the beauty that so many loves
she walks to the jagged rocks
pounded by the sea of all sorts
she has had some hard knocks
through the channel she yearly teleports
Beneath sweet peached skies
Morning wipes the silvery dew
tears’ out of her droopy eyes
her long shadowed fingers linger
edge closer, I sense she’s in danger
blood gathers, pain turns to anger
will she react to a lurking stranger
I brace the odds and will save her
reckless sense of duty of a mountain ranger
Yet I’m motivated by the beauty of a mysterious stranger
broken, beaten and scarred, there’s an imminent danger
majestic creature, the wild imperial Bengal Tiger
