Muse
Muse
Laying alone in my bed at night, unfinished poems in my head, lines and stanza's encircling, fantasies unread
Looking for that someone to pull them from my head, to bring out all my passions, to say the things unsaid.
Looking for that someone, my Diamond in a rhyme, a gemstone of such beauty, I want to make her mine.
But where will I find her, do I already know her name, must it be a secret, for the days that still remain
Or is she hiding in my heart, quiet like the night, forever to be hidden, always kept out of sight
My search I will continue, throughout the sands of time, looking for that special muse, to write of in my rhyme
In my dreams I see her, she floats within my head, stirring up more poetry, whilst I'm in my bed
So my secret special muse, come out into the light, show yourself to me and help me with this plight
Put me out my misery, let my search come to an end, place your hand upon my heart, my poor lamented friend
