I'M GOING SKINNY DIPPING
I'm going skinny-dipping.
My kit I'll be off slipping
(shorts and T-shirt, running shoes
are only clothes that I choose
taking signposted beach track
and on the homeward way back)
then I'll slip into the sea,
baptizing my whole body
in the cooling tidal brine
when sun most hotly does shine.
Around me no crowds milling,
just the few likewise willing
to bare their all in the sun
will be sharing in the fun.
Leave the clothed beaches heaving
with crowds - think of the breathing
in that all too confined space -
hate thought of that in my face!
My way sure I'll stay healthy -
but don't expect a selfie!
