Swan Song
Alone I cry, the darkness won't fade away
The start of night, the beginning of my day
I go to church, I wish and I will pray
I have a voice but nothing left to say
I hear the ocean but never see the wave
I see the golden road that I will never pave
The hope inside that I had failed to save
The fear I feel, so hard to just be brave
I'm on a mountain, looking for a light
I'm on my own, looking at the sky
I am afraid, the middle of the night
I am a coward, I will run from the fight
A soaring airplane, a bird just travels by
A king is crowned, a leader we will find
The monster comes, the weak will always die
But the truth in front, the people always blind
Alone I cry, the darkness won't fade away
The start of night, the beginning of my day
I go to church, I wish and I will pray
I have a voice but nothing left to say
hear the ocean but never see the wave
I see the golden road that I will never pave
The hope inside that I had failed to save
The fear I feel, so hard to just be brave
A silent whisper, a sound of purest life
A hopeful future, no idea what's ever right
The depression, the misery inside
The path we've chosen, the horse that we will ride
I hear a song, but they will never like
I see a marriage, but never see the bride
The moon has risen, the water moves the tide
A desperate soldier, a man without his pride
Alone I cry, the darkness won't fade away
The start of night, the beginning of my day
I go to church, I wish and I will pray
I have a voice but nothing left to say
I hear the ocean but never see the wave
I see the golden road that I will never pave
The hope inside that I had failed to save
The fear I feel, so hard to just be brave
The start of night, the beginning of my day
I go to church, I wish and I will pray
I have a voice but nothing left to say
I hear the ocean but never see the wave
I see the golden road that I will never pave
The hope inside that I had failed to save
