Why?

You look into that beautiful light
I cry, "Daddy, please don't go! Don't leave me here alone."
You don't say a word and I shut my eyes tight
Looking up I scream, "Why must you take everything away from me?"
You look at me and start to cry
"If I could take you with me I would, but I've already tried"
I prayed that God would let you stay, but no you just died
Why does everything have to end so sad
Nothing in this world is ever happy anymore
This world has turned into a place that's very bad
Take me away from this awful place
I have nobody here that I know
Everybody I see is just another unknown face
