In a spiral
Helplessly falling
Darkness welcomes
My self destruction
This silly heart
Always beats
For that something
It can never have
I shatter quite easily
Though still allow
This masochist heart
To grab at the agony
Raw emotions
Grating on senses
Like a sore throat
That can’t swallow
The silence
In my soul
A final twist
Of existing

Desires out of reach, knowing if you grasp it the nettles will sting your delicate fingers, but still the heart wants it so you stretch out your hand

I probably expect too much. And i kinda let my heart lead the way more often than i should
