DO YOU TRULY SEE ME
From the very beginning of time which history has foretold since the beginning of time, did you ever see me or did you see only the pure texture of my dark skin and the true potentials of my strength to labor within the golden sun, for was it not your ancestors who took my black people from there home land to raise your children's and do your chores. Let's not forget the rapes that were producing interracial kids, or the buck breaking of our men's breaking there soul and spirit, or the slaughter of hanging us by a tree even setting us upon fire for your own sick pleasure. Yet some of your people constantly tell my people to go back to AFRICA, yet you falsely accused us of not being worthy of the same life you live and love so tell me again. Why your ancestors took my people from there land upon, the slave ships across miles far away from the home land of their birth right. For wasn't it your ancestors who took and sole us from one slave owner to another, for profitable gain but your call it doing business yet you trade my ancestors like chump change. For here we are face now with the same racist tackles of domination of conquer and control, for no matter what is the race and creed and color for we all bleed the same color of blood through our veins. So how can I as a Black American born in the USA go back to a place, I've never seen nor been before in my life, only heard of through the many stories of once upon a time from my elders those that have come before me as a child.
