Black lives need to matter

They say the story of slavery is still being written.
The print just got smaller keep reading.
When you say black lives matter they want to get court literal.
To say all lives matter when you don't respect mine is laughable.
It took a knee to bring us together but it wasn't Kaepernick.
The movement is just but they want to change the narrative of the subject.
If I don't see it doesn't happen is what some choose to believe.
But just because you can't see the water doesn't mean the well is empty.
Tax time is the only time uncle sam is our uncle.
Because when it comes to jail time his mathematics are remedial.
Your president preaches division but that's a lot of people's vision.
They close their ears to the truth and become a part of the mission.
He is just talking when he says something real.
Pardon me but he ain't standing on a treadmill.
You can't ignore him walking what he talks and practicing what he preach.
How he held the Bible showed he does not really believe.
You take a knee you're against the flag.
So I guess the knee that made this boil over was against blacks.
This is the land of the free right or wrong.
So why can't we have a piece of mind in our home.
How many of us never make it home black or white.
We pray to see another tomorrow every night.
We were taught to forgive and forget.
But how can you forget when they keep repeating it.
We're suppose to forgive and let live.
But when its lives being lost there is only so much forgiveness you can give.
