My Favorite Things
Moonlight and feathers
With melted wax candles,
Blood splattered everywhere,
Mark of a vandal
Corpses with honey paired with apple rings,
These are a few of my favorite things.
Whispering willows and wispy white satin,
Leather-bound books splayed out,
Laden with Latin
Fireflies buzzing like diamonds with wings,
Thus continues all my favorite things
When the day comes,
And the birds sing,
It makes me go mad,
But then I remember they way that they scream,
And then I don't feel, so bad
Obsidian obelisks that house ancient wisdom,
Sacrificed marmot, skinned and filled with resin
Bloodletting men who are bound up by strings
I want it all,
Give me everything
Call it madness, but it's gladness
That consumes my mind
But if you just knew the freedom that I do
Then you wouldn't be, so blind.
