try to use me

twist
burn
scar
hurt
kill
me
but you don't need to
i've already done this
i've pushed myself past the brink
already taken all things
that make me human
that make me bleed and cry
that make me curse and scream
that make me sick to the stomach
that make me want to end this life
that make me vomit all over
and shoved it away
to a deep black corner in my mind
left it there
chained and killed
and now
i have nothing left
of this humanity that i
once held inside
once thought to be
precious and worth the risk
thrown it in its grave
left it out to rot
no dirt to cover it
my empty hollow shell
no more part of this world
inhumane at its best and terror at its worst
