a darkness floods the magnolia hills.
A darkness floods the magnolia hills.
A place once so soft and subtle,
but now that gentleness is gone.
A chill rides through these hills
under a sky of crying white lilly.
There was once your lips your kiss --
now an unexplained P H E N O M E N A
Now there are no road signs, sunshine,
no arrows to point me back
to our once upon a time.
Now only your absence
touches me.
I am stuck I guess.
All I am left with now is
the wind, these magnolia hills and
it is not there.
You are not there
but you are the ghost
of my heart.
Now the rain is ash
upon my skin.
A place once so soft and subtle,
but now that gentleness is gone.
A chill rides through these hills
under a sky of crying white lilly.
There was once your lips your kiss --
