Dare to dream

A poem entitled "dare to dream".... for Jenny :)

As I dreamt about your beautiful, deep brown eyes, I suddenly came to realise,
That from the year 2011, I received a precious gift from Heaven,
It's true, darling, when you walked into my world, I felt my heart begin to unfurl,
So I let myself go and gave myself to you, I am delighted that I've finally found a love so true,
You've moved me more than you could ever know, where you've been all my life I do not yet know,
And though I've only known you for a very short while, I carry you around with a constant smile,
Yes, you're in my thoughts as I constantly dwell, my feelings for you continue to swell,
I look forward to spending my life with you, I dare to dream and I hope you do too.
